Elvar app Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the Elvar app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Who we are

The Elvar app ("Elvar," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Elvar Strategy Firm, a business doing business under that name in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The app is a performance reflection and coaching communication tool for athletes working with Elvar coaches.

2. Eligibility and age requirements

You must be at least 14 years old to use Elvar. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and consent to these terms on your behalf during the account registration process. By completing registration, your parent or guardian confirms they have read and agreed to these terms.

By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you meet the age requirements above.

3. Your account

When you register, you will enroll under a partner organization (such as EVO Academy, NE Eagles, or LHS Baseball) and provide basic profile information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Elvar reserves the right to deactivate accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

4. What Elvar does

Elvar allows athletes to:

  • Submit post-practice and post-game performance reflections

  • Receive written feedback from their Elvar coach on those reflections

  • View their reflection history and performance trends over time

  • Communicate directly with their Elvar coach through in-app messaging

Elvar is a coaching communication and self-reflection tool. It is not a medical, psychological, or clinical service and should not be used as one.

5. User conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or harmful content in reflections or messages

  • Use the app to harass, threaten, or harm any other person

  • Attempt to access another athlete's account or data

  • Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the app

  • Use the app for any purpose other than performance reflection and coaching communication

Elvar reserves the right to remove content or deactivate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion.

6. Coach feedback and communication

Elvar coaches aim to respond to all submitted reflections within 48 hours during active season. Response times are not guaranteed and may vary. Coach feedback is offered as professional performance guidance and does not constitute a promise of any particular outcome.

Messages and comments within the app are visible to your Elvar coach and, where applicable, other authorized administrators.

7. Intellectual property

All content within the Elvar app — including question sets, branding, design, and coaching methodologies — is the property of Elvar Strategy Firm and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission. Content you submit (reflections, messages) remains yours; by submitting it, you grant Elvar a limited license to store and display it to you and your coach within the app.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Elvar is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy of feedback, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by Massachusetts law, Elvar Strategy Firm's liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

9. Termination

You may stop using Elvar at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if your organization's partnership with Elvar ends, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your reflection history will be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you through the app. Continued use of Elvar after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.
